Las Vegas, NV (March 28, 2019) – The Polynesian Football Classic, a premier high school football event announced four games featuring nationally ranked teams to be held in Las Vegas at Fertitta Field (Bishop Gorman High School).
Headlining the first game will be nationally ranked powerhouse and 2018 Trinity League Champion St. John Bosco High School (California) versus perennial Nevada playoff contender Liberty High School on Friday, September 6th at 7:00 pm.
On September 7th at 8:00 pm, nationally ranked,10-time reigning Nevada State Champion Bishop Gorman High School will play Servite High School from California (Trinity League) to headline the final game of the Classic.
Logan High School, who recently hired new coach Bart Bowen, will face the Desert Pines Jaguars, who is coming off a 9-2 season in Nevada, in the first Saturday game of the Classic on September 7th at noon.
Saguaro High School, 2018 AIA State Champions of Arizona, will play Faith Lutheran High School of Nevada on Saturday, September 7th at 4:00 pm.
“We are excited to once again showcase the best high school football in the nation,” said 4x Super Bowl Champion Jesse Sapolu. “It is only fitting that Fertitta Field at Bishop Gorman is the home of the Polynesian Football Classic.”
